Tiny Moving Parts was ready to close out the show as the hung their new album cover's image on the stage. "Swell" is set to be released the next day but we were lucky enough to have the record there to hear before everyone else. TMP's usual energetic, bubbly stage presence was renewed as they shared new music off their new album and the crowd was soaking it all up. From the stage divers to their final song, "Caution" complete with the outfits and caution tape from the music video, TMP closed out an unforgettable night. I can't wait to hear what they have been working on.

A chilly January night wasn't going to stop the crowd forming at the Amsterdam Bar in St. Paul from seeing hometown emo-revival band Tiny Moving Parts with support form Mom Jeans. (CA) and Oso Oso (NY), especially on the first night of their 3 month international tour.

The crowd filled the bar, pressing against the merch tables and high top tables on either side. Oso Oso opened with their buzzing emo atmosphere and positive stage presence. They're the 'play this album if you're wishing for a mixtape from your crush in a 2018 emo way' aka it's the band to listen to all the time. Mom Jeans. electrified the crowd with their clever lyrics, full sound, and carefree vibes. If you listen to the intro of "Edward 40hands" or look at any of their song titles you'll understand what I mean when I say you're gonna wanna listen to this band with the windows down and heart-shaped sunglasses.
